  • 2021 William H. Harrison, Jr. Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to students living in the AWS Mobile Section area who are pursuing welding education.
  • 2022 Airgas - Jerry Baker Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to an undergraduate student pursuing a minimum four-year bachelors degree in welding engineering (WE) or welding engineering technology (WET); however, priority will be given to welding engineering (WE) students interested in pursuing a career with an industrial gas or welding equipment distributor.
  • 2022 Airgas - Terry Jarvis Memorial Scholarship
    The Airgas - Terry Jarvis Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to an undergraduate student pursuing a minimum four-year bachelors degree in welding engineering (WE) or welding engineering technology (WET); however, priority will be given to welding engineering (WE) students interested in pursuing a career with an industrial gas or welding equipment distributor.
  • 2022 Atlas Welding Supply Scholarship
    This scholarship is for a welding student in AWS District 9 with a minimum GPA of 2.5, with priority for a student in the Birmingham Section.
  • 2022 Eleanor Ezell Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to students residing in the AWS Mobile Section who are pursuing welding or welding-related fields.
  • 2022 Leo D. Veal Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to students in the AWS Mobile Section who are pursuing higher education in welding.
  • 2022 Paul “Jerry” Betts Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to students living in the AWS Mobile Section who are pursuing higher education in welding.
  • 2022 Rayburn Johnson Scholarship
    This scholarship is for students who reside in the AWS Greater Huntsville Section and are pursuing certificates or degrees in the welding or welding-related programs.
  • 2022 Ronald C. & Joyce Pierce – Mobile Section Scholarship

  • 2022 Stephen F. Carlisle Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to students residing in the AWS Mobile Section and pursuing higher education in welding.
  • ACHE Police Officers and Firefighters Survivors Education Assistance Program
    This is a grant covering tuition, fees, books and supplies for dependents and eligible spouses of Alabama police officers and firefighters killed in the line of duty.
  • AHAEFF Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to students who are planning to enroll or are enrolled at an accredited, two or four year, not-for-profit institution within the US as full time students. Applicants must be a resident of Public Housing/Section 8 Resident (includes RAD PBV/PBRA).
  • Airgas – Jerry Baker Scholarship 2022
    This scholarship will be be awarded to individuals interested in pursuing a career in **welding engineering**.
  • Alabama American Legion Scholarship
    This scholarship is available for Alabama high school seniors who have a parent or grandparent who is a veteran that served during times of war. Students must plan to attend selected colleges in Alabama.
  • Alabama Association of School Office Personnel Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who are planning to enroll at an accredited, two or four year, not-for-profit institution within the US as full time students and have demonstrated good leadership skills and academic achievement.
  • Alabama Funeral Directors Association (AFDA) Scholarship
    The Alabama Funeral Directions Association is committed to excellence in funeral service education.
  • ASDAR Scholarship
    The Alabama Society DAR will award two scholarships to graduating high school seniors in Alabama who are planning to enroll at an accredited, two or four year, not-for-profit institution within the US as full time students.
  • Bryant-Jordan Student-Athlete Scholarship Program
    This scholarship is awarded annually to deserving high school seniors from schools that are members of the **Alabama High School Athletic Association**. This award is designed to reward the student-athlete who achieves beyond his/her ability both academically and athletically or who may have overcome some obstacle or hardship to achieve success.
  • Driver Safety Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to students who are planning to enroll or are enrolled at an accredited, two or four year, not-for-profit institution within the US as full time students and have demonstrated good leadership skills and academic achievement.
  • Greater Hunstville Section Scholarship
    This scholarship is for applicants who share the **AWS Greater Huntsville Section's** dedication to welding and their value of a good work ethic attitude.
  • Hilcorp Future Leaders of America Scholarship
    This scholarship is for Hilcorp employees or their dependents to pursue a college education in the **Math** or **Science** fields.
  • Leadership in Child Care (LICC) Scholarship
    Leadership in Child Care (LICC) Scholarships are available for those interested in the Child Care field.
  • Mobile WESCO & Miller Electric Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to students in the **AWS Mobile Section** who are pursuing welding education.
  • nexAir LLC - Gary Enders Scholarship
    The purpose of this scholarship is to promote welding education to a qualified student pursing a degree or certificate in welding. Priority is for a student at Moore Tech College of Technology in Memphis, Tennessee.
  • Porter Fleming Literary Competition 2022
    This competition recognizes talented writers who reside in **Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee**.
  • Ronald McDonald House Charities Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who are planning to enroll at an accredited, two or four year, not-for-profit institution within the US as full time students and have demonstrated good leadership skills and academic achievement.
  • Swayze Woodruff Memorial Mid-South Scholarship
    Applicants for this scholarship must have been a member of **AQHYA** or **AQHA** for at least one year who is from Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi or Tennessee, and who competes in AQHA-approved shows.
  • The Alabama Home Builders Foundation scholarship
    The Alabama Home Builders Foundation scholarship was founded in 1995 with a mission to help fund deserving students who are interested in pursuing an education in the residential building trades in the state of Alabama.
  • TheDream.US Opportunity Scholarship
    The Opportunity Scholarship Award will cover your tuition, fees, and on-campus housing and meals at one of our Partner Colleges up to a maximum of $80,000 for a bachelor’s degree. You can renew the Award each year so long as you meet the continuing eligibility criteria.
  • The National Association of Junior Auxiliaries Scholarship
    Scholarships are awarded each April. If more than one Scholarship year is required to complete studies, the recipient may reapply, provided all previous agreements have been fulfilled satisfactorily.
  • Too Mitchell Memorial Scholarship & Too Mitchell Memorial/NASA Friends & Family Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to a student pursuing welding education in the **AWS Greater Huntsville Section**.
