  • 2022 John W. Bailey Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to students who are current AWS Members.
  • 2022 Lonestar-Blackgold Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to students pursuing degrees or certificates in welding or welding-related programs.
  • 2022 Thomas B. Schueck Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship is for students across the state who are interested in pursuing a career in welding.
  • ASPSF Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to students from Arkansas or in Bowie County, TX who are planning to enroll or are enrolled at an accredited, two or four year, not-for-profit institution within the US as full time students and are single parents.
  • Christopher Lyon Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors from Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas or Oklahoma who are planning to enroll at the University of Texas at Tyler and demonstrate exemplary achievement and potential in art.
  • Danielle Rivera Memorial-District 17 Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to a woman planning to attend a welding program with an emphasis on the **hands-on practice of welding and metals joining**.
  • Dionisio S. Ortiz Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship is available for students attending Ouachita Baptist University, who have graduated from a Paraguayan high school and are an OBU legacy(Parent, Grandparent, or Great Grandparent attended OBU)
  • Jim & Jana Harris Advance Arkansas Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to Arkansans attending the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Preference will be given to individuals who are members of a Southern Baptist church.
  • Mandy Coats Scholarship
    The Mandy Coats Memorial Scholarship was established in 2004 and first awarded in 2005 to memorialize Nancy Amanda Coats. Born on November 14, 1977, in Pine Bluff, she was the daughter of Jimmy and Sandy Coats. After graduation from White Hall High School in 1996, Mandy attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello until her diagnosis with Batten’s Disease. At the age of 26, Mandy joined her Lord on May 23, 2004. She was an active member of First Baptist Church in White Hall.
  • Medical Missions Scholarship
    This scholarship is available for Arkansas Baptist students who are attending any college, seminary, or medical school and are preparing for Baptist medical missions.
  • Nancy Cooper WMU Scholarship
    Nancy Cooper served Arkansas Woman’s Missionary Union as its Executive Director for 25 years. A scholarship fund was set up in her honor following her retirement in 1974.
  • Powell-Duffell Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to students who are enrolled an Arkansas accredited college/ university as full time students and are active members of a church affiliated with the Arkansas Baptist State Convention.
  • Robert L. and Joanne S. Westbrook Scholarship
    Available for students from Magnolia, Arkansas attending Ouachita Baptist University or Baylor University.
  • Swayze Woodruff Memorial Mid-South Scholarship
    Applicants for this scholarship must have been a member of **AQHYA** or **AQHA** for at least one year who is from Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi or Tennessee, and who competes in AQHA-approved shows.
  • The National Association of Junior Auxiliaries Scholarship
    Scholarships are awarded each April. If more than one Scholarship year is required to complete studies, the recipient may reapply, provided all previous agreements have been fulfilled satisfactorily.
  • WELSCO Stephen E. Harrison Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship is for a full-time student with a 2.8 GPA overall, and a 3.0 GPA in welding courses at a Vo-Tech school. The student must be pursuing a degree in welding.
